Registration includes one admission to all core symposium sessions. Attendees who pay the full registration price, and whose organizations are not already PLMA members, will receive the incremental registration fee as a membership credit if they choose to join PLMA before October 15, 2024.


Symposium Payments, Cancellations, & Refunds Policy

All payments must be received one week prior to the conference. All walk-up registrations, including off-site events, must be paid on-site at the time of signup.

If you are unable to attend this event, you may cancel your registration for a full refund until Monday, July 29, 2024. Cancellations received after Tuesday, July 30, 2024 will receive 50% of their total registration rate.

Please be advised that any individuals who receive a positive COVID-19 test after Friday, August 9, 2024 may use their prior registration as a credit toward a future event, or receive a refund in the form of their original payment method. (Proof of diagnosis will be required for credits or refunds and can be sent to [email protected]).

No-shows will not receive a refund.

As the largest hotel outside the city, Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago is home to spaces ranging from traditional ballrooms to inspiring networking areas and top-floor reception venues. Located five minutes from O’Hare International Airport, and offering a complimentary airport shuttle, we are a comfortable and convenient location for travelers.


Parking, Logistics, and Transportation Upon Arrival

Shuttle Schedule

The Hyatt Regency O'Hare has a complimentary shuttle bus that runs on a continuous loop between the hotel and O'Hare International Airport 24 hours a day.

Pickups occur every 15 minutes between 4 am to 12 am.
Pickups occur every 30 minutes between 12 am to 4 am. 

Arrival Instructions for those Flying In - Pickup Locations

We strongly advise all attendees to book their flights at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). The Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago shuttle does not service Chicago Midway International Airport. (Depending on traffic conditions, Midway is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away). 

Terminal 1, 2, and 3 Arrivals
From baggage claim, please head to the Arrivals Level of Terminal 2. You will exit via Door 2A. The hotel shuttle bus will pick up from the middle lane. 

Terminal 5 Arrivals
Exit the terminal from door 5E.The hotel shuttle bus will pick up from the center lane (cross over the first lane of traffic). The designated shuttle pickup area will be under the awning.

Arrival Instructions for those Driving In

After turning onto Bryn Mawr Avenue, head east until you reach the dead-end. On your left (north), you will see the parking gates. Pull a ticket and enter the parking lot. You may park in any of the marked spots in the flat lot or the parking garage. There is a covered walkway located on level 3 of the parking garage which will lead you directly to the hotel lobby. Handicap accessible parking is also located on level 3.

Self-parking is a self-service facility where no attendant is on duty. Overnight guests must get their entry parking ticket validated at the Front Desk for in/out and final exit. Discounted parking is available for PLMA attendees at $20 per night for overnight self parking.

Checking Out and Departure

The shuttle bus boards from the front entrance of the hotel. You do not need to schedule the shuttle. Depending on traffic conditions, it will take approximately 7 to 15 minutes to arrive at your terminal. (Friendly reminder: Between midnight and 4 am, the shuttle will run every 30 minutes).

Please note that lodging is not included with your event registration, so book accommodation for your stay as soon as possible. PLMA's preferential rate of $189 a night at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago ends on Monday, July 22, 2024. After this date, the hotel may have rooms available at its regular rates until sold out.

Conference Promotion Policy:
PLMA recognizes that one of the benefits of a PLMA event is the interaction among the attendees and the open environment provided. It is the intent of PLMA that participants attending PLMA events be allowed to fully participate without outside distraction.

PLMA's Antitrust guidelines direct all conference participants to avoid discussion of topics or behavior that would result in anticompetitive behavior including: restraint of trade and conspiracies to monopolize, unfair or deceptive business acts or practices, price discriminations, division of markets, allocation of production, imposition of boycotts, and exclusive dealing arrangements.

Free Time:
You are welcome to conduct your own special events or meetings that do not compete with PLMA's conference agenda. To make meetings more accessible and still allow registrants to get the most out of the conference's learning and networking opportunities, PLMA offers the following guidance for hosting sanctioned sponsor or other activities:

Please schedule your personal and professional meetings and activities either prior to or following PLMA's scheduled conference programming.

  • Tuesday, August 13
    The conference agenda includes a 60-minute lunch during which food will be served for the first 30 minutes. Free time is available until conference sessions resume.

  • Wednesday, August 14
    The conference concludes at 12 pm. Please plan personal and/or professional activities for after 12 pm.
